MULTI-VENDOR INSTALLATION AWARD
Following a LonWorld tradition, show organizers announced the winner of the 2004 Best Multi-Vendor Installation Award Winner. An impressive collection of nominees made selecting a winner a challenge for the judging committee. Nominations were received from Asia, Europe and North America compounding the difficulty of the judges task.

Eventually a winner was chosen for the Best Multi-Vendor Installation Award - Ove Arup & Partners and Pfizer Ltd. for Pfizer's new pharmaceutical research laboratory in Sandwich, Kent, UK. Congratulations to Ove Arup and Pfizer for a job well done.

- Ove Arup & Partners provided engineering and design services

Four story building, consisting of three floors of laboratories, a rooftop plant-room and undercroft contains further plant.
- LonWorks® system provides a wide range of functionality associated with a modern building automation system, including monitoring, metering, operational and supervisory control, trending, alarm handling and web browser functions.
- The system allows seamless integration of the utilities and building services systems
- The facility has a floor area of approximately 37,000m²
- 2435 LonWorks-based devices
- Project was completed in June 2004
